Throughout the region, suburbs such as Woodinville, WA are reimagining their commercial centers into city districts. From GGLO’s completed work on The Schoolhouse District to our work on the upcoming Gardens District, we are thrilled to be a part of the city’s transformation.
Recognized by the Puget Sound Business Journal as one of 23 Seattle-area real estate stories to watch in ’23, The Gardens District honors Woodinville’s rich history and offers a harmonious intersection for both people and planet where community can thrive. The development thoughtfully implements extensive use of mass timber, a sustainable emerging technology that utilizes wood fiber from the Pacific Northwest. When complete, it will be the tallest DLT mass timber residential structure in North America. As a first of its kind, it will lead to the “scaling up” of this technology within the industry, while creating an environment of warmth and tactility for the development.
The redevelopment is a project of Green Partners LLC, which includes second-generation store owner Jens Molbak. The project team comprises GGLO, Graham Baba Architects, Gustafson Guthrie Nichol, Tree Solutions Inc., Coughlin Porter Lundeen, PACE Engineers, Rushing, and Sierra Construction.
